Covid-19 Vibe Check

The combination of financial strain and social isolation is unquestionably taking a toll globally on mental health, so we wanted to do a vibe check to put some focus on this subject...

Not to mention, getting weed has become increasingly difficult, even for people living in "legal states". This vibe check is also for the people who are essential workers, lots of us were called into action on very short notice and have had to deal with working on the front lines under scary and uncertain conditions with a lack of proper supplies. During this pandemic human behavior tends to be amplified, meaning that nice people generally seem to get nicer and the assholes become even bigger assholes.

The purpose of this blog post is to say that –– If you have been feeling defeated lately, YOU ARE NOT ALONE. There are so many of us in the exact same boat right now. We personally have lost a couple of friends to suicide during the quarantine and we know of many others who are really having a tough time, so we thought we would vibe check you and make sure all is well.

Our world seems to be quickly slipping into a pretty strange reality right now. Hopefully, we can figure out a way to get things feeling a little more back to "normal" soon but until then it's probably not a bad idea to be extra nice to each other and offer your help to others. Helping others just makes you feel good anyway, so if you haven't done it lately you should, even just a simple phone call could mean the world to someone.

We hope your vibe is as high as it can be right now, and don't forget about the simple things that always seem to be a good vibe reset: getting fresh air, listening to good music, going for a jog/walk/bike ride (anything physical), talking to someone, and for most of us, weed, of course.

If you don't have anyone to talk to, you can always call 1-800-273-8255 to chat with someone who can offer help 24/7.

Stay safe and optimistic.
