Mike Judge, the creator of Beavis & Butt-Head, has confirmed a two-season renewal of the hilarious animated series. Originally airing on MTV in the 90s, Judge recently signed a deal with Comedy Central to write, produce and record voice-overs for the two protagonists.
The renewed episodes will be set in present-day, allowing a new generation of youth to discover and connect with Beavis and Butt-Head’s weirdness.
Although an official release date has not been given, additional spin-offs and a potential live-action adaptation have been discussed. As Judge told New Musical Experience, “It seemed like the time was right to get stupid again.”
